WELCOME TO OUR NEW JUVENILE SECTION OF THE WEBSITE WHERE WE WILL KEEP YOU UP TO DATE WITH ALL THE ACHIEVEMENTS OF OUR JUVENILE MEMBERS

WELL DONE CONOR

Conor Mooney, one of our best young players, recently got picked to play for Leinster in a match against Ulster.

Conor who recently got down to one handicap took his opportunity well and won his match very convincingly 7 up, shooting 7 birdies and no bogeys around Greenore Golf Club.

Conor has been part of the Leinster Elite B panels coaching program for the last two years under Shane O’Grady [Leinster Elite Coach] and this year has been moved onto the top table A Panel.

He is one of many young talented players in our junior section and his achievements lately will inspire the rest to step forward and keep improving.  Our Junior section is one of the strongest around and we should be very proud of the way they represent the club.

PRESENTATION OF MAJOR COMPETITIONS PRIZES TO JUVENILES FOR 2014

Saturday the 6th September was a very big day in the Black Bush Juvenile calendar. It was presentation day for our four major competitions of the year and what a success it was.  The day started with our final major of the year, the Captains Prize.  Captain Jim was on the first tee to wish all our players the best of luck. Golf was followed by dinner and the presentations. A terrific number of proud parents turned out for the presentations along with our President Michael Connellan, Captain Jim Fagan, Lady Captain Vivian Marsden, Vice Captain Ned Walsh, and Lady Vice Captain Angela Malone.  The Juvenile committee would like to sincerely thank you all for giving so freely of your time and to thank you for sponsoring such terrific prizes.Unfortunately schools have reopened so the golf must take a back seat but we have some fun competitions organised for the Halloween break.
